Dog Friendly Beach Campgrounds in a prime location right on Mission Bay with amazing views of San Diego.
Family time in San Diego! We had a premier beachfront camp spot to celebrate my grandpa’s birthday. These campgrounds are dog friendly and have some incredible bay views. The weekend was beautiful with clear nights and serene mornings. My cousins all came out and we all had the best time hanging out. While dogs aren’t allowed on the beach here, Fiesta Island is close by and they have a dog park in the campgrounds for us to run around.
The campground we were at had some turf, a fire pit, a picnic table and full hookups for the motorhome. All of our neighbors were very nice and there were a lot of kids riding by on their bikes and parents in their golf carts. Campland has a store in case you forgot something, a swimming pool for the humans, a restaurant/bar with a patio, and a dock for the boats. We enjoyed being able to walk down to the dock and hop on a boat rental we had during the day on Saturday.
Hanging out with my cousins is one of my favorite things to do and when I got home on Sunday, I was exhausted. I’m happy we were able to be a part of the birthday festivities and enjoy the beach campgrounds!
