Dog friendly restaurant perfect for brunch any day of the week with a lovely enclosed patio located at Westfield UTC.
Ever since they sponsored the Santa Paws event at UTC, Great Maple has been on my list of places to check out. Wow. This place far surpassed my expectations. If you didn’t know, it’s currently Restaurant Week in San Diego which was the perfect excuse for a family date! We were thinking about going to dinner somewhere, but then we saw Brunch for $20 at Great Maple! It was a no brainer we had to check them out.
Located on the outside of UTC mall, it is easy to get to. Their covered patio is very spacious and they have some great heaters. We went thinking it was going to be cold, but were pleasantly surprised by the warmth on the patio on a cold day. Our waitress Briana was very nice and was sure to bring me some water as soon as we sat down.
We tried a bunch of different things on the menu and everything was outstanding. It goes without saying, but if you come here, you have to try their doughnuts. My parents loved them. They tried the seasonal Samoa doughnut and there were definitely no regrets.
Come hungry because the portion sizes were pretty big. The restaurant week menu gives you a couple options to choose from (all looked amazing), but the rest of their menu is filled with plenty of enticing options. They even have a dog menu for me! I tried the Protein Pup and it was delicious! Overall 2 Paws Way Up for this lovely place!
