Dog Friendly Pacific Beach bar with an open air courtyard, a beachy vibe, some delicious food and amazing drinks.
Sunday Funday!! Mavericks is a popular Pacific Beach bar and a great place for dogs to join their hoomans for daytime outings and weekday nights. We were looking for a good dog friendly breakfast place on Sunday morning for a bigger group and Mavericks was the first place that came to mind. The staff are all very friendly, told us all how cute we were, and brought us water bowls. They even put ice cubes in mine, which I love!
Football on the tvs, a bloody mary bar, a mimosa bar, and some great breakfast options, they know how to do Sunday Funday right. If you prefer beer, they will bring you a cooler of beer so you can enjoy watching the games and feel like you are hanging in your own backyard. They also have all the yard games like cornhole, giant jenga, and giant connect 4. Hanging out at Mavericks is more than a patio for us, their open-air courtyard is the perfect place for us to feel right at home.
Before Sunday, I had been here once before and if you haven’t been yet, you need to go! If you have a full schedule on the weekends, check out “Wag Wednesday” the first Wednesday of every month to meet some furry friends. On this day, they transform their side parking lot into a mini version of a dog park. They lay down some turf for us to run around off leash and have Yappy Hour prices for your parents. No matter what day of the week, Mavericks is an enjoyable dog friendly bar with a beachy vibe.
