Awesome New Mexico brewery with some great beer and a must see dog friendly location in Santa Fe!
On the road again! Another quick road trip to the wide open spaces of New Mexico. This time we were sure to plan ahead so we had a little bit of time to stop in Santa Fe and see what it had to offer. It did not disappoint. We arrived in the late afternoon and wanted to find a park to stretch our legs and run around. Unfortunately, we didn't find a park, but as the sun was setting we pulled off the main road and found a wide open field along a road in the middle of no where. The skies were so beautiful!
After I got some of my energy out, we were ready to explore the town! The best way to see the town in a quick amount of time, find a brewery, try their beer, and people watch! Santa Fe Brewing Company has a couple locations, but we decided to checkout The New Beer Hall. Looking at their website, it looks like all of their locations are awesome and unique. This brewery was definitely one of my favorites. The views were so beautiful. They recently built a huge fire pit that looked amazing, but had actually never been turned on yet. When they get that going, this outside space is going to be hard to compete with on a crisp evening. We enjoyed the last colors of the sky while visiting with some locals. As the temperatures started dropping a little too low for our San Diego blood, we headed inside to warm up. I was welcome to hang out right next to the table. We only drank the beer, but they do have food as well. Overall, the people were charming, the beer was great, and the place was one of a kind. Definitely a must check out!
